Saving your Game while Neighbours are on lot CRASHES The Sims 1

Hey.  I know a lot of users are reporting crashing and visual glitches. But I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread of Gameplay glitches experienced in-game that WERE NOT in the original...

I have this issue too. It took all day to even get the game to launch and now I keep losing my progress. Thanks for the tip about neighbors being on the lot though. I couldn't figure out why it sometimes worked fine and others didn't.
