Sim Medieval cant play new world

My husband recently **bleep** with all my EA files because he wanted space on the C drive. He uninstalled EA and all saves and sims 3. He knew Medievalnis my fave so he didnt uninstall not realising he **bleep** my game. He reinstalled the save files when he realised I lost all my achievments but since then when I try and start a new ambition and world it tells me I have to make TWO sims to start and Im stuck looking at the castle. I can only make a monarch and knight but omce I do it says I still need to make one sim to start playing, but there is no other options and I cant scroll around. Ive repaired the game in the app twice and its still happening. I dont know whats going on.
