- *sigh* I am usually pretty patient when it comes to their games, but I am a little disappointed they're dragging this out so much. I might have to stop keeping up with things for a week or so.

That's also a possibility. I was honestly thinking something along the lines that the writer of the note possibly killed or hurt her while in wolf form?
Either way, both theories have to do with Avelina being the spouse of the the writer of the note.

There’s a couple of Scandinavian fairy tales (and Greek myths) about animal bride/bridegrooms. East of the Sun and West of the Moon is one that I remember reading when I was younger, with a really beautifully illustrated book.
