So one day I found some of my old expansion pack cd's in my basement and they were, Sims 2 Pets and, Sims 2 Nightife and I installed them together and when I tried t open Night life it told me to open Pets so I did but the nightlife ep did not combine.
Do you also have the base game? You need that I believe. Also, with the older games it might be so that you need the disc of either the latest one installed, or the latest one released. Pets is newer, does it work if you use the pets CD and then play it?
Otherwise, if you have problem with the disc version if the game, you can contact EA support and tell them that you have a problem with this and ask if you can get a digital version of the game instead.

Yes, I do have the base game already installed but, no the pets CD doesn't work. The CD only shows the pets ep and not the nightlife one
Okay. Well, I have the digital version, have only played the disc version of the game on windows XP (more than 10 years ago), so I can't say much else. Maybe someone else knows more, but I still recommend you to ask for the digital version. You might need a photo of yourself and the disc/code to prove that you're the owner, but usually if you own the disc version of the game you can get the digital one 🙂

So I tried to get an adviser to give me a digital copy of The Sims 2 and the adviser said that The Sims 2 wasn't on the Origin market. Should I try a different person?
Yeah, try again. If they say that again, tell them that as an owner of the physical game you've heard that it's possible to get the Sims 2 UC version on Origin (Ultimate Collection). This should be especially true if you have a problem with getting your discs to work correctly 🙂
Well apparently The sims 2 support chat and phone are down right now.

To speed up that process, we need to talk to you on the phone." when yesterday I could and my phone doesn't work.
If you can the chat or phone version depends on what details you use in your case, the time of day and your region. Try choosing something else and the chat may pop up! 🙂
