Sims 2 stuck in loading screen..

The patch notes on 2/6/25 literally mentioned they fixed sims 2 “loading screen that would not progress”. I am still having that issue. My sims are stuck on a Tikki island resort and I can’t get to them… This has been a hot mess. Please tell me I’m not alone in this ??
