Sims 2 Ultimate Collection disappeared from library after switch to EA App

Origin forced an update to the EA App for me today. After installing the new EA App, the very first thing I noticed was that the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection has disappeared from my library. I did some searching, found that this used to be a common issue and then a number of vague posts about the issue being resolved...but it's definitely still missing form my library. How do I get it back?

EDIT: I was able to resolve the issue through a support chat on help.ea.com. I completely uninstalled the desktop app and then when I reinstalled and signed in I chose to sign in with my EA ID instead of my email. Sims 2 Ultimate Collection is now available for me to download in my library.

  • @roonilxwaslib , other thing to try (for others who may have the same issue) is to clear your local thumb cache out of the EA App or Origin to ensure a clean install of the games.

    Hello! I have this issue with EA App and I have been trying to get help for three days but without success... Can you explain how I do this, step by step, please?

    Sorry for the late reply! I had to ask a friend for her laptop to try this.
     

    I installed the EA App on her laptop, and The Sims 2 showed up there! But when I logged back into my laptop, it wasn't there...

    I tried clearing the cache, but it was useless. I have been looking for how to do it manually, but no luck so far...

    By any chance, do you know how to clear the EA App cache manually?

    Anyway, thank you so much for replying!
