Some Origin games not showing in EA App

I've noticed a few games from Origin are not showing in my EA App profile.

I've noticed at least 2 so far:
The Sims Medieval + Expansion

Alice: Madness Returns

Haven't done a side-by-side comparison to see if any others are missing.

Why would some games I own through Origin not show up as owned through the EA App?

@Urfbownder64 EA is aware of the issues with The Sims Medieval; I'm sorry I can't offer more help with that. Hopefully, EA App lets you launch it when it's installed.

As for Alice: Madness Returns, I recommend contacting live chat to check that out. If you have any proof of purchase for that game, it could be useful to have it on hand.

  • Now The Sims Medieval didn't show in my library, but doing a search shows that I do own it, at least.

I tried installing it, and it will show up in the "Installed Games" section. Uninstalling it, however, it does not show up in my library still.

Alice: Madness Returns still doesn't show, and when I search for it, it wants me to buy it again or get EA Play to play it.

  • @mate54 Yes. I did that as soon as I saw your reply. Even downloaded the installer again to make sure I wasn't running on an outdated one.

@Urfbownder64 I have passed this along to someone who can take a look at account issues. Hopefully, we can get some answers that can help you access your games again.

  • Just an update, still nothing changed.

On a side note, I'd love to open Origin and the EA App side-by-side to verify if any other games are missing, but when I reinstalled the EA App, it uninstalled Origin. Really don't feel like installing Origin again, and I'm pretty sure it won't let me have both open at the same time.

At the very least, I remember things acting all stupid if I switch from one to the other in the past.

  • The Sims Medieval is showing up now. Huzzah.

Simcity(2013) now keeps disappearing and reappearing from my account.

But Alice Returns still doesn't recognize I own it.

I found that I still had Alice Returns installed(forgot I had done that), but I cannot play it because it says Origin isn't installed..

Well...since EA has FORCED us to use their glitchy EA App, I guess I just can't play the game again. It "requires" Origin, but you can find it in the store through the EA App, so that makes no sense...

Overall I'm just getting extremely frustrated with this debacle.

Don't force people to use a different program to play your games if you cannot ensure we can actually play the games we own...
