The Sims 2 | Game Keeps Generating Townies ENDLESSLY.

So basically i heard there is a problem with the townies and that when you're playing on one save file for long the game keeps generating townies endlessly witch may cause lag and longer loading screens in that neigbourhood, there is a mod to fix that but it doesn't work on the legacy collection (as well as many diffrent mods pls fix that) and it should be fixed anyway as it's a pretty serious bug you can loose a save file if you're playing for too long. Maybe there is a limit of townies but it seems to be a bit to high... There should be and option to change max limit of generating townies or just a much much lower limit of them, townies in this game are immortal anyway so there won't be a problem with empty comunity lots, the only problem I see is that with no new townies we would always see same people over and over again, but I think thats better then losing your whole save file over this, besides if we would add a townie to our family or make them playable in some other way a new would be generated...
