Automatic Pool cleaner NOT WORKING

Question

I bought the Automatic Pool cleaner and placed it in SEVERAL pools, NONE OF WHICH are working!!! ALL pools are STILL murky dirty and EVERY TIME I try to open the game, I am CONSTANTLY getting a "action failed. the pool is too dirty to swim in. have a sim clean it first." but NO SIM is swimming in the pool!!! the ONLY thing in the pool is the automatic pool cleaner!!! the error message pops up EVERY TWO SECONDS!!! I AM UNABLE to play the game nor exit out of the house into the town or to any other sim's house!!! the message pops up SO FAST that NOTHING can be done in the game!!! I Googled the problem but NOTHING CAME UP!!! ONLY a few spam websites with 'The Sims Freeplay Automatic Pool Cleaner Not Working' in the title but was ONLY scam websites trying to sell a dodgy pool cleaning product. What do I do to get it working? or how to I get around the message popping up every two seconds???

Automatic Pool Cleaner Problem

Answer

1.&nbsp;Visit an affected house lot
2. Dismiss the message(s) (it is worth noting that you will need to act quickly here, as the messages will stack up if left unattended)
3. Enter the Home Store
4. Select the Automatic Pool Cleaner and either Send it to the Inventory, or Sell it
5. Exit the Home Store
6. Select an Adult or Senior Sim (also important, as younger ages cannot clean the pool), tap on the Pool, and select Clean Pool
7. Once the pool has been cleaned, you can place the Automatic Pool Cleaner back in the pool and it should work as normal once again.

Try rebooting your device ant/or restarting your game app. If this doesn't work contact support through the question mark selection in your game menu.
