I am having a lot of issues since yesterday as well. Very Frustrating! I emailed their support and got a reply saying i need to come to the forums and find an answer or chat with them (which I haven't found a way to do yet). I am on level 22, and I am VIP level 9.
- The game is constantly crashing. It will go through intro and then just exit to iPad home screen. Also crashes (if I manage to be able to get in) when I direct a sim to do an action.
- I directed all my sims to work on craft event items overnight, woke up this morning and they hadn't done them. They were all standing around doing nothing. I'm now falling behind in all events.
- Lost my place in the Pirate and his Goddess progression quest three times now due to crashes. I've tried to hold the town meeting and when I go to check on the actions my sims are standing around doing nothing even though I directed them and saw the action start previously.
- I have lost over 400,000 simoleons since this started. Not sure where they went.
And I'm just going to copy some of your post from above on this part because I have done the exact same.
Constant crash. I can’t even get into the game. I have tried multiple troubleshoots from the EA website and other research. These trouble shoots include:
- Reset my Wi-Fi connection
- checked date and time on my device
- clear safari cache
- Updated to latest ios version (issues seemed to start after this)
- Trying different network/Wi-Fi connection,
- Checked my storage. I have over 74.95GB of storage left.
- Reset the iPad. Turn it on and off, offload the app and redownload.
- Delete and redownload the app.
- Force closed and restarted the app.
I'm not putting any more money into this game until these bugs are fixed. I've lost boost advances that I received previously (ie: Simoleons, Life points, Social points) because of this crash and trying to troubleshoot what is going on.
I have loved this game for years and just came back to the iPad version after years away. I hate that I can't enjoy it now.
