People have tried it and say it doesn't fix any of the issues. Game still constantly crashing and hanging for minutes or even hours at a time, even on modern devices.
Had to quit after 2 years of continuous daily play because the update wrecked my setup so bad it can't be fixed. RIP SFP. 🤷♂️
