Events

Does anyone else find some of these events just stupid? I have so many things to do when events come up that take up all my time that I can’t finish other things because it’s spent doing these time consuming and takes so many sims. 

I find the crafting events especially stupid because you have to constantly craft and sacrifice sleeping for a few days or you lose out. Maybe if we didn’t need so many pottery or the 4 sims working on it could make more in an 8 hour period instead of the 500+ like they do the glass or jewelry. I stayed awake way later than I should because of it and I still almost didn’t make it in time. 

I don’t know about anyone else but trying to do other things and fun things goes out the door when we’re constantly hit with events especially all at the same time. I still have all the downtown development, the sandy springs happiness and a bunch more to do that I can’t seem to get done and I have all this available housing, but can’t add any more sims to try to do it. 

Also, why does it take 20+ hours to clean sand reorganize a fridge or anything like that? That’s just crazy.
