I can't unlock audition room

I can't unlock the audition room (unless I pay for it) because I need to get my third badge to unlock level 7.  However I can't get my badge because I have to help two important sims but every time I get an important sim I have to help them in the audition room which I can't unlock until I help them! Side note I have all the resources to unlock this room. Its only the fact that I can't help the sim that is needed to unlock the room.

    In the first picture it shows the sim needing help in the costume Dept not the audition dept. If you have the costume dept built then just make your director sim the active sim to compete the requirement.

    also if your actor sim is not level 7 he should not get any requests for the audition dept.

    I know this is a year late, but...
    If you are building something or upgrading the workplace, you have to wait until they are complete.
