Lost game progress

I have lost 3 years of progress in my game after uninstalling . When I reinstalled I got the following message

EA have confirmed that I only use one device for my game but otherwise have been of no help at all.My game was saved to the cloud every day and yet I cannot access my current game data.

Can anyone help please?

  • Check out the account you’ve logged in. Is it the last one you played with?  Is your Google Play account always logged in on your device,  but usually you’re playing SFP with FB logged in?  In that case you need to log in with your FB account while installing the game to get the latest save data.

    Yes, it's the same account and I play with Google Play logged in. When I load the game that message shows immediately and even when I log in to FB it says no available data to download

    Oh well :( So the FB account doesn’t provide data, your Google Play account has three years old data, and you don’t have another Google Play account. Did you possibly log in with your EA account, when this was introduced lately? That’s my last idea to get the progress back.  

    I’m not sure what that message means in your game. In my game it showed up, when I started to use my new device. It doesn’t show up, when I switch from tablet to phone.

    Since the FB and Google Play accounts save separately, I guess the EA account will save separately, too. Did you try to download with the EA account logged in? If there’s a save, it shouldn’t be older than a few weeks. (Depending on the date you’ve logged out.) Before logging in with the EA account, make sure the auto save is switched off, and don't tap the Party Boat or globe before you have the correct data, to avoid overwriting the data that’s tied to the EA account.

    When the game downloads EA and FB are logged out and when I log in to them it still says no data to download also auto save is on but I don't play with it on.

    Another odd thing, when the game loads after the reinstall it shows I have a sim visiting a neighbour's town. Surely it should take me to the exact point I last saved but you can't save while a sim is visiting a neighbour's town . 

    I really appreciate you trying to help me with this.

    A while ago I ran into the “no data in the cloud” myself.  It was just easier to solve, because I had a pretty fresh backup on my phone. Losing years of progress or even the whole town would be horrible to me! That’s why I feel with you :) 

    It’s really weird that you got a save with a Sim in a neighbour’s town. Like you said, you can’t save then, and I think the auto save wouldn’t be able to do so either. 
     
    Sadly there’s not the correct data with any of your accounts.  Do you think, you can go ahead playing from the point your game is now? If you made purchases, you could ask the support, whether they would unlock those items for you, hopefully including the VIP points.
