Mute sims freeplay

Somehow, I accidentally put the sims freeplay (ios 10.3.3) on mute. I saw the word 'mute' on the screen while I was getting out of bed. I checked the game settings & the music/game sounds are still turned on. My iPhone is making sounds with other apps.
Please help 🙂

Sorry for the wait, I'm moving your thread to The Sims FreePlay board 😉

Did you find the option to turn the sound on? You could check if this helps:

Press on the ... button on the bottom right corner of the screen.

This will get you to the game menu. Press on the second button in the left to get to Options.

Make sure sound is not turned down in there.

If you look at your iPhone where the + and - are to up or dimm your sound there is another small switch next to the +. Just switch it to disable or enable a mute in game.

Thank you so much for your response to the question.. please can I ask where is the “…”?
I had to delete the app and reinstall (here in London, UK) because it refused to acknowledge my WiFi signal and my data signal.. so I have no recollection of how I the game when I first downloaded it some months ago. I was very lucky to be able to restore my game play and not have to start all over again.
