My Sim can't "sit and chat" in my new house

Hi,

I just built a new house and in the basement where the Sim can tend the bar/lounge counter. On the other side of the counter is an option where Sims can "sit and chat" however when I select that option the Sim can't as if something is in the way. I'm adding pictures, I noticed the issue yesterday 2/27/25. Also, while I'm on here. I love the new updates a absolutely love it and the completion of the neighbors area. Can you make it that the Sim that visits the neighbor Sims can interact with each other....for example if my sim is tending bar can the neighbor Sims have a drink? Thanks much!!!
