Here is a list of tasks I found on facebook for episode 5.
Being eastern time in the USA, in order to complete all of this by the time I go to bed by 10 pm est, I'm out over $20 just to complete this day in the challenge... it BETTER give me the win or you'll see me raging in the forums, lol... I really need to stop spending real money on this damned game!
So, after doing all of the challenges and using social points to finish... I was able to complete Episode 5 of the SimChase Season 3... which had a serious hiccup.....
without using Social points, I would not have been able to finish. I did NOT get an award screen.... I was just able to look at the accomplishments and that I was way ahead... and that I did 7/7 tasks. So I should (I better) get the Summer Respite Pack. My bar still shows that I have ended the Simchase, and that my opponent is about 1/4 of the way complete... we'll see if this is fixed by tomorrow. I honestly will be ticked off if this continues as I am a consistent $$payer of Lifestyle and Social points for this game. Hiccups like this will make me question whether it's worth it.
I'll post in the morning if I was given the Summer Respite Pack or not.
I'm going to be pissed off if we dont get credited with the win.... this crap isn't cheap if you know what I mean...
I sent a request in to firemonkeys. I wouldnt do any of the tasks if our simchase isnt working. I finished Episode 5 last night but wasnt given the prizes.
They replied quickly:

I see that you are stuck with Simchase episodes and are unable to make progress. I can understand how disappointing it would be on your end.
Your issue is currently being investigated, however, at this stage we don't have a timeline for an official fix. We understand that this may not be ideal but, due to the rarity and difficulty in reproducing the issue, it may take some time.
Keep an eye out for future updates and always make sure you have the latest version of the game.
