Hey I’ve been trying to have more neighbours on sims but for some reason it’s only showing one neighbour and I have at least 3 friends playing this game.
can you please tell me it there is a known error with this?
If you're friends through Facebook, usually the issue is either yours or your friends' Sims Freeplay permission has expired.
Try visiting Facebook and clicking the Hamburger button/triple bar icon (usually near the upper right), scroll down to settings and click, then to apps and websites and click. If you play many games, it may not show at the top, then you would click "see more". If Sims Freeplay reads Active in green, you're fine, if it reads expired in orange or red, click it, then simply click renew. Sometimes changes take effect immediately, and other times it can take 24 to 72 hours to update.
This (of course) is only one possibility, but it may be the issue in your case.
It never hurts to try.

Your friends need to allow the app to be seen by friends or all
if they have it set on only me, you cant see them on the party boat
same if you have it set to only me, if they allow friends to see - you can see them but they can not see you
ask them to check their settings on FB
If you use Game Center or Google Play
They should show but both GC and GP have gone neglected by Apple and Google for so long that neighbours might show up after a month or four after adding them or not at all
I keep telling EA-Firemonkeys that we need a new, more reliable way to connect
through EAs own app, as an example
but so far no luck
