The Sims FreePlay download error stuck at 95%
Hello EA Support,
I need help with The Sims FreePlay on iOS.
Device: iPhone 11
Platform: iOS
Storage available: 14 GB free
The game downloads normally, but it always gets stuck at the final stage:
- Download stops at 95%
- Installing shows 99%
- Error message appears: “Download Error – Something happened with your download”
- Retry restarts the loop and returns to 95–98%
- Sometimes it stays on “Download Paused”
I have already tried:
- Deleting and reinstalling the game
- Restarting the iPhone
- Using different Wi-Fi networks
- Waiting several hours and retrying once
- Ensuring enough storage space
The issue always happens at the same point (95–99%), so it seems the final download package may be corrupted or not validating correctly on the server side.
Could you please reset or refresh the download package linked to my account, or advise how to force a clean final download?
