To log in with Facebook, please enable Tracking in your Apple iOS settings

The problem continues! I’m on the latest iOS, latest versions of Facebook and Sims FreePlay. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both apps. My Facebook settings show Sims is active and set to friends. Tracking is on. I still get the tracking message and cannot connect to Facebook! Help, EA!

What is the latest iOS for you @lisheepoo ?

14.4.1 or 14.4.2?

Please be specific as updates comes frequently.

Someone reading this months from now can get confused.

I'm not sure if 14.4.2 fixed it as I never had the issue in the first place

The tracking they're asking for is the one in the game app

Allow tracking

A lot of players do not have that option and that is when the issue arise (I do not have that setting in the Freeplay setting)

They only have tracking via Settings: Integrity (or whatever that is called in English, the blue box with the white 'stop' hand) and allow apps to track - that is NOT the tracking requested

For those who have the tracking in the app, turn it on and restart the game and it should work

There is still a confusion who is asking for that setting

My guess is FaceBook and they have to fix it

Firemonkeys/EA can not tell FaceBook what to do or how to run their business

Firemonkeys can ask FB to look into it but that is about it

My latest iOS is 14.4.2

I wish EA would just get away from connecting with Facebook altogether, ugh, I have a game I haven’t been able to access in years!

I’ve had my game since 2011. 

I don’t have the option to turn tracking on. To have to start again is devastating.
