I have a house that I can't demolish. It says I can't demolish a house with a pet or Sim still living there, but there is no one there. The house is completely stripped, and there's no dishes, weather vane or anything else that might stop me demolishing it. I tried moving someone in and out, relogging my game, and have had someone else look to make sure it's clear. There has never been any Sim there, or any pet, so I can't understand why I can't demolish it.
make sure a pet is not in the pet park or elsewhere

I only have one pet in my game and he's with another family safely in his kennel. He's never lived on that property. No Sim or pet has ever lived there.
