Use a neighbors toilet bug
When first starting the game you have to explore another town and make a friend. Once you do that, you have to use their toilet. I have done it 3x over and the social task will not be achieved or go away.

A “Toilet Cubicle” doesn’t work for that task. Have your Sim using a toilet that you can find in a usual home bathroom.
