As someone whose favourite game is Baldur's Gate 3, I can only feel sorry for anyone who's emotionally held hostage by this mess of a game. You're getting scammed in the worst sort of way.
Obviously the answer is no.

I read more into this. I didn't realize that creators are only getting 30% of the sales. It takes a lot of time and effort to make 3D content. I feel at least make it 50/50 to be more fair.

30% is also what creators can get from Roblox Marketplace but it can be higher.
https://create.roblox.com/docs/marketplace/marketplace-fees-and-commissions
50% is what "Published Artists" gets from Daz3D Shop.
90% for Second Life Marketplace.
Note: Daz Studio and Second Life rely on creators to survive. EA and Roblox want bigger revenue.

This game costs enough already and is a buggy mess. I absolutely will not be supporting micro-transactions. Besides, I already get CC for free. Why would I want to pay?

In the promotional pictures they've shown examples of objects and prices.

I will be perfectly transparent. I will CONSIDER making purchases but not many because I think the 70/30 split in EA's favor is a bit gross and greedy. I also don't like how many of the creators were treated. Targeting people in money troubles is predatory. So any purchase I make will be because the items are things I have already wanted for a while in my game. I know there are folks who purchase indiscriminately and I have in the past myself but now with the Saudi Arabia and Jared Kushner buyout, I'm just not going to give over my money willy nilly. I will never however purchase any GP's or EP's with Moola. I also think the needing to purchase Moola to make purchases is unnecessary just charge what you think it will go for and let the Marketplace decide if it's worth it or not. Then you can adjust prices accordingly.
Here is a list of the ONLY things I would EVER consider purchasing. Not on the list, wont Buy. P.S. - The items being sold better not look like CC in the Inventory. They should look and sort just like any Kit, SP, GP or EP.

I will if I think I will use something and enjoy it and I think it's worth the price. I'm excited for any creator that benefits from this program. EA is a for-profit corporation, so I expect them to want to make money. Nothing is free. "If something IS free, YOU are the product." (Not my quote but it's relevant)
- rjssim2 days agoSeasoned Ace
Some things I would like to see in the marketplace and would buy are content that changes the gameplay, such as adding new features, adding new systems, etc. With a marketplace hosted by EA, I would assume we should expect to see the highest of quality, and this includes updating the content to make sure they work with future patches. There are a lot of cool mods out there that change the gameplay, but there a lot that don't work anymore. If keeping the content updated so it works forever is part of the marketplace's goals, then it's definitely a perk for having the marketplace. Again though, I can't express enough on this, it should be at least 50/50 for sales to be fair to creators.

Absolutely no. I spend tonnes of money purchasing all the extensions as such, then they came up with kits, that let's be honest are not good value for money. now they want microtransactions? hell no. i watched some youtubber where he was saying that you will have to pay per eachseparate neighbourhood + the world. that is absolute robbery. this is why i supported buying all the kits and add ons cause it was still good. with microtransactions game going to be ruined.
