Not crazy about the coming Marketplace...
We already have a plethora of Packs that we are charged for (and trust me I have almost all of it), and I'm struggling to see how adding "official paid mod support" by any other name is beneficial to to the game. The Whole problem is it makes the already blurry lines between Mods and Kits even blurrier.
Even assuming you aren't playing us for fools, the facts are you are essentially disabling gifting of kits too because of your plans with Moola...Not ideal. I know everyone criticizes whale tactics but when you want to give someone a birthday or christmas gift you shouldn't be locked out of choices by "Marketing Practices".
Furthermore, Moola is going to be excessively costly at 2.99 for 200 Moola, and that's just going off what the value of a Simpoint was in Sims 3. Average Simpoint cost for something you wanted on Sims 3 ranged from 600 Simpoints (Small Micro-Premium Content), to 14400 Sim Points (entire worlds/packs). I love EA, I believe in the Sims with all my heart, and the Team behind it is among my favorite developers, but this is insulting and unfair to end users...I'm not trying to pick a fight, but something HAS to be done about this.
