Hey all! The customer service rep I was just chatting with told me that the Sims Mobile devs do read these forums, so I'm bringing up an issue that has caused quite a bit of noise in the Sims Mobile community: the randomized Date Night packs. For those who aren't aware of what I'm talking about, the recent Date Night Pack was released in three scaled packages with different contents, which were offered at random to players. A lot of us only got offered a lower tier pack when we would have loved the higher tier packs, which is super lame! Sadly, EA does not currently have the facilities available to let us upgrade to a higher tier pack, which is also lame. My request is this: Offer all tiers to all players, and let US choose how much we want to spend! That option works great in other microtransaction-based games that I play, so it should work well in The Sims Mobile as well. Give us a choice, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the results!If you have an opinion on this issue, even if you disagree, please feel free make your voice heard! Guess who's got an unknown number of thumbs and either didn't listen to any of us or learn anything from this? EA! They are doing the exact same thing again - offering multiple SimCash bundles to different players. The reason I'm posting about it in here is because basically it's clear they haven't heard us, so I'm just going to keep this thread active until I know they HAVE heard us.Let us choose what packs we want to buy. Nope, a lot of us compared notes on how much we spent. It had no correlation at all to how much we'd already spent. (And if this were supposed to be a reward pack for spenders, I definitely should have been offered it!)Then last night, someone refreshed their user data (cleared cache and data on the application) to basically simulate a reinstall. The packs offered upon reinstall were completely random. They "re-rolled" several times until they got the big pack, along the way randomly getting offers for the small and mid sized packs in no particular order.One hundred percent random.

What I want to know is why is there three+ versions and why can’t we access all versions for purchase?

Reading reddit and so far people have reported three versions. 1) a mega pack for almost $25 with loads of stuff, 2) a medium pack with hair and necklaces for around $15, 3) a cheap $7 one with hardly anything.... then there are those with nothing. It appears to be random who gets what and no one can access all three.

For the OP the cheapest pack contains a dress, 200simcash, a candle and a high heel shoe. The middle pack contains the same dress but different heels, hair (Not new, it was that pretty slinky hair you got sometimes through genetics), necklace, 400simcash and a bunch of roses decor item. top one apparently has so many items.

I received the offer for $4.99 for lacy shoes, floating candle/flower bowl and sleeveless dress and 200 SimCash.

There's a YouTube video showing someone getting an offer for $14.99 that includes hair (for women), the same dress, a pot of flowers decoration (recycled from a previous pack), a necklace and a pair of pumps and 400 SimCash.

On the sub and in the YouTube comments several people described getting an offer for $19.99 that included I think everything received in the other packs plus a hairstyle for men and an outfit for men (don't have more details on that) plus 800 SimCash.

Someone else said they got the same pack I was offered, but for $7.99 instead of $4.99. I don't know if they mean USD or if it's another currency.

I really would have preferred to have been given the option to choose for myself what pack I purchase.

Is there some way to make this happen?

I'd open a ticket to ask, but nvery time I do, the agents tell me to post here, no matter what the issue is... Even when it's account/billing related and posting here will not help me at all.

At any rate, it'd be really great to have the full variety of packs offered to everyone universally so we can make the budget decisions ourselves.

According to another player, they were offered the same exact pack the YouTuber was (women's hair, pumps, sleeveless dress, vase of roses decor, 400 SimCash) but at the price of $9.99, not $14.99.

I'm kinda peeved that they scaled the packs instead of letting us choose what we want. If they'd given me the option, I would have taken the higher level pack and they would have made MORE money out of me. Dumb move, EA!

I've just emailed EA to see if I can upgrade to the higher tier pack. If it works, I'll let you guys know so you can get your hair. Fingers crossed!

ha! I’m with you, willing to spend more money here but no help at all.
My friend got the middle pack and wanted to upgrade but the response he got was a long the lines of ‘the game won’t allow doubles, since he paid for a pack which has items in the larger pack the isn’t a way for EA to double up’ (that was him over phone telling me this so would rather something concrete from EA). Personally if this is indeed true (& not just a pals exaggeration) they should make an upgrade solution which factors in the cost of the pack we already have e.g ‘since you paid for X click here to upgrade to the rest’... something like that.
Total messed up job, should have released all three and let us consumers pick which one.
I want the top one for the hair and jump suit 😭
