Game gives option to purchase story I already own, 600 SC lost

Two days ago, I experienced a very unsatisfactory and frustrating glitch. Upon opening my game, I got a pop-up notification telling me the Internet Icon hobby was available for purchase. I found this strange because this is a hobby that I already unlocked through the quest when I first started playing 4 months ago and I already completed this hobby with my first Sim. Out of confusion, I accidentally clicked the "600 SimCash" Purchase button. I saw "Transaction in Progress..." on the screen and immediately closed my app, turned off my wifi, and restarted my phone to prevent the transaction from going through. Despite this, when I went back to my game, I saw that 600 SimCash had been removed from my account and that nothing new had been unlocked (since I already unlocked the Internet Icon hobby months ago). I am extremely saddened, disappointed, and frustrated at this lack of attention to detail and at these apparent dark patterns that exist in the TSM interface (large "Purchase" buttons and no clear "X", "Exit", or "Back" buttons, leading users to make purchases they would not normally intend to make). Dark patterns aside, I should have never even received the option to purchase this hobby as I already owned it. Considering how much I have spent on packs for this game, now I am feeling as though EA has stolen my in-game and real-life money and would like to see this rectified.

    Unfortunately this is an issue that we can't help you fix from the forums.

    You should send in a Help Ticket from your in-game account. Advisors need mobile players to do this because in-game mobile tickets bring through needed details. Contacting by any other method will only delay support and you'll be asked to go back and send in an in-game help ticket. Also worth noting that sending in help tickets from the mobile in-game account ensures the tickets go through to the mobile advisors directly who'll be far more informed.

    Please include the exact name of the heirloom, the exact spending price (600 Sim cash) and, if possible, the exact date and time it happened as this information will help the advisors locate the purchase.
