Need more urgent assistance, verification code EA Support request expires?
My issue is being worked on. I am in the process of restoring my game.
I submitted my ticket 4 days ago and surprisingly got a response the next day. However, the problem is I only get a response once a day and it usually comes at an odd time like 2am PST, I'm assuming they're in another timezone than me.
I actually need immediate assistance because they're asking me to verify my account with a code they've emailed me, and they have to keep sending new ones because I'm assuming the one they sent at 2am expired. But they don't respond until the next day. This is not something that should be done through email if it's so time sensitive.
I'm struggling because I have no way of knowing when they've emailed me, I had to remove my Google account from my phone because they asked me to "log out of the game" in order to restore my account. There is no log out button. What else can I do?
Because I don't receive the emails to my phone, I've had to set up email forwarding to another account. I've made sure the notifications are on, even set EA emails as high priority and changed it so high priority emails push through my DND silence. That's how desperate I am, willing to let the emails wake me up at 2am in order to fix this. Yet for some reason Gmail push notifications are not working... About to pull my hair out.
I don't have a computer, it broke a month ago. The Sims Mobile is now my only source of gaming solace. I am heartbroken I can't get better support after investing so much money and time into my only "real game."
How am I supposed to verify time sensitive information if the only way to get support is through an email 24 hours later? How can I get an agent to contact me during my normal business hours? Can I get urgent support?
Sorry if I seem frustrated, I really am. I had to verify my account to submit the ticket to begin with, I'm responding from the email on my account so clearly that's verified too, right? Do I have to post on Twitter to get urgent assistance? Is there any way they can tweet at me when they are ready? At least I can get notifications from Twitter 🤣
