What do you expect to see? I expect to see the sim I created in the family portrait and in relationships with my other sims, for example, his son should show him as his father.

I had a sim that I had previously created and have had active off and on, but it was passive most recently. The sim's son is one of my current active sims. Some time in the last week, one of the daily tasks was to "Daydream the best holiday." I made my active sim do this task with his father. Then yesterday, when that daily task popped up again, I went to pick from that same sim's relationships, and his father wasn't listed. I went and looked at the family portrait, and his father was missing there too. He wasn't retired or anything, and I have activated him on occasion. I want him back. How do I get my sim back?
