@KodamaTreeSpirit It is absolutely not a weird comment. I think exactly like you, I feel your discomfort and I share it.
I just finished posting a few ago a feedback on this thread more or less for the same reason.
It's obvious that you are not able to feel that the district are really close to each other.
The game do not let us to be involved in the surrounding environment because it is not made in the correct way, In parkside is day, in downtown is night, In Waterfront is evening lol
At home is always morning .....
All this does not make a minimum of sense it seems that we are on different planet every time we visit a district.
Really hope Firemonkeys will release an update for this.
Phew, thanks! I'm glad you know what I mean and share my feelings!
To be honest, night time in downtown doesn't bother me *so* much, though it does get a bit depressing, but for some reason I'd feel weird DJ'ing in broad daylight (or maybe I was successfully conditioned to only think of downtown at night time!). But the big scary building on the right edge of downtown does (if the club is West and the Civic Center is North, then that building would be East. You cannot interact with it or go that close to it, but when you're remodelling your club, you manage to see it better). That thing looks like Darth Vader's HQ or something! XD
Edit: not when you're remodelling your club, I've just tried. But you can see it when you're downtown and you zoom out to the max. And yes it does look like some sinister HQ to me! :D

@KodamaTreeSpirit The best solution would be to add a continuous of day/evening/night alternation, as The Sims FreePlay did.
So all the districts would be equal/realistic.
I've never noticed that building, now that you are talking to me about this I'm going to see xD

I would love this to happen.

The night/day suggestion seems to be an agreement between a great number of players!
I also meant I'd like to see a geographic continuity between districts, with which you could see in Market Square the street that leads to Downtown, and the street that connects Downtown and the Waterfront, the street that connects Parkside and Waterfront etc. You know what I mean?
Edit: I meant the street that connects Parkside and Market Square, not Parkside and Waterfront! :D

That being said, my other suggestion would be a system similar to giving stickers to Sims, but for players' houses. If you go to a party and really like someone's house, you should be able to give them a little something, even if it doesn't bring in rewards (or maybe you could earn extra gems that way). Sorry if it's been mentioned before!

@KodamaTreeSpirit This is a nice idea. We would have more gems every week this way.

@ItsKatlyn99 Thanks! And it would also reward the creative efforts of a lot of players! My house is pretty conventional so I wouldn't expect much of it, but I've seen some truly beautiful and original houses in the game and it's sad that they don't get anything for that.
Haha, let me know if that building creeps you out too! XD
