EA StaffHey @brief_candles, can you check the 'updates' tab in the app store for an update of the game? It can happen that the App Store shows open instead of update when there is an update available, this update will show up in the updates tab.
@SimGuruMaaike, I went to the app update page as you kindly recommended. There wasn’t a new update available. However, I entered the game via the “Open” button under the recently updated section (dated 16 March). Since then, after visiting various locations and re-entering the game a few times, I thankfully haven’t seen the pop-up. Fingers crossed, that’s that! Thank you for coming to my aid. Much appreciated!
