Re: Terrible Performances on new phone

looking up your phone specs , if I have this correctly and googled your new phone ( there were a few 5) you have a higher resolution on the new phone which could be your issue. Your old phone was 1080 x1920 your new phone is 1080 x 2160 resolution . From what I heard EA did lower the visual on this game to make it more playable. You might want to ask EA staff or a Guru @EA_Mai or @SimGuruMaaike I have no idea how this game plays at higher resolution . I have 1080 X 1920

I would ask EA staff. I paged them and hopefully they answer you. You can also try contacting EA directly . The game does require certain phone specs I can't tell you if your res is too high for the game or something else in your phone specs may have an issue running this game. Which exact 5 do you have? I saw 5, 5 pro etc.

The only thing I see as an issue is the resolution being higher. I have android 7 but my res is lower than yours.

How much space do you have? I have more than enough space for the game. When my game gets laggy from time to time, I shut down my pone , pull my sd card for 30 seconds and put it back. My lag goes away when I restart.

Maybe @Phantomlover1717 knows. They have a list of phones that will run the game.  I don't know if your specific phone model has issues with this game

Hey there, we don't have a list with devices, I'm asking for devices that run the game in this post:
    https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Info-request-What-Android-device-are-you-running-the-game-on/td-p/6676802
However it isn't an guarantee it will work on those devices.

I'd recommend checking out this post:

    https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Info-Compatibility-on-Android-devices/m-p/6678650#M300

It mentions some steps that might be helpful to solve this issue.

    What about the other tips?

I can check if your specs are about the same as the phones that run it, but I'll have to do that Saturday or Sunday.

@Phantomlover1717 their specific phone is not on your list though the brand of phone is. I googled, the specs for the phone. They  look fine accept the resolution is higher. People that played the game before I started had told me EA had to lower the visual to make the game more playable on more devices. That's why I has paged EA staff because they would know

Their specs are almost same as mine. They actually have more ram than I do but their resolution is higher than mine. The web states they have android 7 so do I , they have a quad processor and so do I .

@Loccaa77web states your phone comes with internal storage of  64 gb and then you can add more on an SD card up to 256 gb. Did you add more internal storage?

I think this game is not optimized with Snapdragon 636 2018 released CPU. Every game work awesome.

@Loccaa77 not sure if it is that or your resolution. Hopefully someone from EA answers your thread.  You can also try contacting EA directly, open your game, open the tab to the right, go to settings help about section, then click on help to contact EA directly

    I have snapdragon 625 I think .

Do you have lag with snapdragon 625?

@Loccaa77 rarely get lag. I have a zte phone, only two gb ram , I do have an additional sd card but the game is installed on the phone not the sd card. If my game starts to lag it's usually after I collected coin for a while or did some kind of activity for a while. I shut my phone down, pull my sd card , wait about 30 seconds , put the card back and the game lag clears itself.

My son has the Google pixel 2 XL which has an 835  processor. He uninstalled the game but told me his worked fine. he has 4gb ram. He tested the game a while ago. We had a few updates since then so not sure how his phone would handle the game now.

This is why Im thinking it's your resolution being higher since your old phone, my current phone and my son's phone are all 1080X 1920

It's the weekend so I don't know if you can catch EA staff in here. You can try sending one of them a private message if they don't see or respond to this thread. Hopefully you get their attention and they have a reason as to why your new phone won't play this game well . Again the only thing I see is your resolution
