Screen display chopped in half after videos in Sims Mobile

Some of the advertiser's videos, for example the Harry Potter one, chops the video in half after playing so only half of the screen is displayed and the other half is blacked out. I have to close Sims Mobile then reopen. This is consistent with those videos that are very small; it's like they are not returning the screen to its full size.  I am using a Surface Pro 4 with BlueStacks and attached monitor (not touch). This just started about a week ago, and have been playing about two months prior to this issue happening. It's very annoying particularly since closing and re-opening Sims Mobile takes a very long time.
