Table stuck to land

Product: The Sims Mobile
Platform:Android Phone
List the specific devices you play with (e.g. iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7) Samsung J7 (SM-J700P)
OS Version Android 7.1.1.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? This does not happen with every Á La Mode Table I have but once it happened with this original Á La Mode Table it never went back to normal. I held down over the table to select it to move it. Once it was selected, it was as if the land from under the house was pulled up and stuck to the table. When I tried to move the table, the land was moving with it and so I could not place it anywhere. So I then tried to just place it into inventory to either bring it back out or buy a new table. Then it says in fading yellowish text "contains items that cannot be placed in inventory" so my only choice was to cancel, and the table with the newly attached grass are stuck in my living room, not only being unsightly but rendering my living room useless.
What do you expect to see? The table being selected to move or be put into inventory by itself. No land inside my house.

    @byrdgirl14 How the heck did you make a whole room atop unlocked land? That's probably why it's not letting you move it.

    Try placing the room in storage. If you can't, then try to make a space where you can move that whole room on to unlocked land.

    I didn't make the room. That's the original room my Sims came with and the original À la Mode Table that was there.

    I just tried to make that room smaller, and that room plus the original bedroom next to it could not be selected. I could select my other 4 rooms but not those two nearest the (for some reason) locked land. I'm not sure why the land is locked since it's the original room.

    I may simply save up to unlock that plot of land to see if that will clear things up, unless there are any other suggestions. Thanks for your time and help.

    @byrdgirl14 contacting EA might help with this.

    You can do so through The Sims Mobile app. First things first, write down your Player ID or take a screenshot of it.

    - Open side menu

    - Click the gear icon

    - Click the 'Help & About' tab

    - Click 'Help'

    Your browser opens

    - Scroll down and click on 'Contact Us'

    The EA game advisor might ask you to perform a couple of troubleshooting steps you can find over here for Apple or Android. You can try those before contacting them, or while you're waiting on a reply.

    If you're asked to clear data or reinstall the app, make sure your app is being back-upped to the App store or EA account.
    The backup options might have turned off during a previous update. Your app will reset, but after creating a Sim you should get the popup to restore from the cloud.
