Unable to Start Quests

There are a lot of bugs in the game at the moment. Many of them came at the same time as the seasonal task message got stuck in the upper left corner of the screen (workaround: go to a party). Hopefully they will all disappear in the next update of the app.

BUT WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT REINSTALL YOUR GAME. This has given a number of players more serious problems.

A group of bugs seem to be connected to the Sim’s ability to teleport when asked to do something. This can affect romantic events (not being able to go to the cafe when asked to start a cafe event), friendships (if you meet a friend in the city centre and you try to start a friendship event from there, nothing will happen - both your Sim and your friend need to be at home to start such events) and challenges.

In the Sweet treat challenge the teleporting issue means that the challenge button in the overview will not work. Therefore you need to first move your Sim to the event location, then start the event.

Go to the Park side to start the Baking challenge against other chefs.

Go home to start the long Baking at home event.

Go to the Restaurant at the Market place to start the Baking course.

Go to the Science centre at the Coast side to start the Flavor laboratory.

Wish I had read your comment before I reinstalled. When I did and clicked to recover my account it just started me over 

@1h4vzm38b1loBefore you deleted your app, did you load your game to the cloud? Did you connect to facebook or an EA account or something like that?

Edit: The reason I ask, is that I have just noticed I was not logged in to my account. By accident…

I've had the same issues. 

Now I've lost out on 2 Careers. Photography & Secret Agent. It allows me to get thru part of it then nothing.  

How are we going to be able to get these back? 

Spending $$ to get these things finished in the time frame then it gets stuck so we basically wasted $$. 

I understand there are bugs or whatever but there seems to be a ton of them with no solution.  

I have the same issue with the baby quest it is really bugging me because I managed to save up enough for a decorated house and now I can’t have a baby which bums me out cause I was really looking forward to exploring that aspect of the game, it’s completely turned me off playing it ☹️

Some quest cant be start, like now " fan club ".
