Why is the Sims Festival theme repetitive?

As a longtime and regular user of TSM, I have participated and bought festival passes for most of Sim Festivals & I think this is the first time where I will not be buying the festival pass because the Enchanting Autumn theme is unfortunately recycled. I have purchased this festival pass before and completed all items. I think there was plenty of time and modern inspiration to create a new theme (and keep creating new themes) to keep the excitement among users rather than recycle old ones and disappoint.
