Help!

Hi all. I new to the game. Only on level 11, but can't seem to get any higher. Any suggestions?

  • @Happs1 Hello,
If you are not funding your bases and buying command points, repair points and the like then progress will be slow.

But still you may try increasing your tiberium mining if you have empty tiberium fields.
And control a tunnel exit to engage outposts. Just make sure you are within 6 levels or less lower to activate the tunnel.

I would add being part of a successful alliance will help too.  Many alliances have 'training' sub-alliances, try to get into one of those.  There will be players in there very willing to help you grow and offer advice on the base configurations and army/defence setups.

  • @Slrvgr Thank you for your reply. I don't have enough funds to buy anything atm. How do you control a tunnel exit?

  • Having one in your territory allows you try to hold tunnel they are like any poi in that respect.

But just being close enough to a tunnel will activate it.

As for poi they give bonuses to the alliance that has it in their territory. You can start your own alliance or join one.

Finding an alliance as a new player can be challenging at times.

  • @Happs1 They are scattered around the map. The closer to the fortress they are the higher the level.
Tiberium control network hub, uranium compound, reactor,.... Just a few.

One good way (in my opinion at least) is to start on the PTE when it reboots.  It is a good place to learn techniques and best of all it's free.

On other worlds you really need to send out requests by messaging the Commander in Chief.  Don't try the top alliances, try ones with 20-30 players if the world has been going for a while.  They're more likely to be willing to help.

Unless I've missed it, you don't say which world you're currently at level 11 on.  That would be a good place to start if expecting players here to say, 'come join us'.

  • If you don't mind all your progress being wiped when a pte server restarts.....

Yes, progress is wiped - but if you've made mistakes then so are they.  It's a great beginners/learning platform to progress to an operational world when a new one starts.
