How many Alt accounts can someone have before it is cheating?

How many Alt accounts can someone have before it is cheating?

I am aware the official answer is -0-. However, it is often fairly overlooked if someone has one alt or using a small account to kill to hold POIs during the race to the fort. Fine.

We have been bringing to the moderator’s attentions of extreme abuse on Tib 37, yet no response. I am told the people doing this “cheating” are friends with the moderators. Does that make a difference?

There is an all alt Alliance which has 84 bases. They have no Forgotten kills or Player kills. They don’t hold any POIs.

Their purpose is to 1 unit attack their own main alliance to make themselves invincible as “already under attack” so a level 50 base can kill a level 65.
Then to fill every hole in 60% of the whole board with their 84 bases so the dead can not re-spawn.

Blatantly they call this fake alliance = “Bad Birds – POI”
And their memo description is = “only for support of Bad Birds”

Is this dirty playing, immoral playing, or out right cheating and abuse of code?

There are only a few moderators, please indicate which one via DM!

There are no active moderators on world Tib37 playing actively. I have a single base, you can find it easily enough. It is usually dead! Does it make a difference? you ask - no it doesn't. Moderators have no role within the game and no special privileges either. If a moderator breaks the rules they will be sanctioned in the same way as everyone else.

Drawing our (moderator) attention to an infringement in-game via these forums has very little effect. The developers (@ee_elephterion) visit here and see the posts (including this one) and decide to take action or no action but don't communicate the decision, they implement it.

Is this 'dirty playing'? possibly. Is it cheating? Maybe Is it abuse of the system? Certainly!

    but these are my opinions.

  • It's a holiday in their part of Germany today - they'll see this thread tomorrow and hopefully at least respond, even if it's not the response you desire!
  • I would say bare minimum would be 3 or 4. I used to have 2 accounts for playing both GDI and Nod on the same world, but it got too taxing cause preparing an offense with 2 accounts can take too long. If a player has more than 6, it would be considered cheating, redundant and a waste of time for that person. I mean how can you play 10 accounts in a single day!?!
  • Thank you for your thoughtful response.

Maybe I should pose the question better. We all pay the same amount to play this game. I understand the developers not having the time to catch every little infringement, but surely they should be watching for major infringements. This alliance has been massively and blatantly cheating for a long time. It seems no one is watching! How to we ask the developers to take a look?

You are allowed as many alt accounts as you have emails and time to exploit, no one anywhere will stop you.
