Mutiny

Alliance names, as stated, can't be duplicated even if it has been disbanded, but it is possible to use very similar names by altering the spacing in the name if it has two words, or using . (period, full stop) at the end of the name or a _ (underscore) in the name.

I think the question has sufficiently answered with this, so before we lose ourselves in anecdotes i'll close this. If there are any more questions regarding this topic please feel free to raise a new topic.

I have no idea what you're talking about and I doubt anyone else here will.

In-game messages about abuse are handled by EA not the game developers. Replies are never made although action is taken. The action taken is never relayed to the complaining person. I don't like that system, but it is the system they use citing Data Protection.

How you messaged the 'adminstrator' of this game I don't know. As I have stated in many threads now, it is the Christmas and New Year Vacation time so messages sent through this forum won't be seen until the New Year.

Can you clarify the issue privately via direct message to me? Explain to me the problem and who and how you messaged about it.

In the past i had my own Alliance. The Shining. TS is still my nickname on other servers and it will be for as long as i play this game "The shining" (from the movie The Shining). Then a dirty mutineer, a thief who i fully trusted as my best friend in this game, and wich i therefore made SIC, Some day, when i was ofline, Deleted my account, shoot me off the server and stole my Alliance with all of my teamplayers ! His name is PODIPOD and my former allaince (The Shining) is now renamed: "Dark Magic" The rat, he still use my Description text to invite new members! When it happend, a while agoo now, i did send messages to the game stagg. I don't know who's the administrator but i hoped he should find my message and do something about it! i mean, where else could i complain? But time goes on and seems nothing changed and that means that everyone could do the same trick what does harms this game at last!

start a new server, start fresh and forget the past.

it seems to have fallen victim to a ruse, which is not uncommon in a war game like Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances.

While this situation is unfortunate, it is not explicitly against the games rules, as long as everything stays in the game and certain boundaries have not been violated, such as transgressions into real life or your privacy, hacking etc.

If you gave the player access to your account with login details, there is little we can do, as sharing login credentials is not permitted and you invited this risk on your own.

It's pitiful and no one likes it.

If you trusted a person and gave them your access credentials, it is your personal responsibility, not the owners or developers of the game. It could also happen to you in real life if you leave the keys to your house with a neighbor to take care of it.

If you trusted a person who later proclaimed himself Commander-in-Chief and expelled you from the alliance, it does not feel good but it is not against the rules of the game. If your teammates were happy with you leading the alliance you should found a new alliance and invite everyone there except the one who betrayed you.

Just as that person manipulated you, he may have manipulated the rest of your classmates and made them believe something inappropriate. You should figure it out with them, game owners or developers don't have much to do here.

The downside of creating a new alliance is that the game won't let you use an alliance name that already exists on the server, even if no one is using it now.

this was was inactive as a cic for so long the other guy took over and did what he wanted, end of conversation.

In an alliance where I was, we had three CiC (mixed from three alliances), one of them did not act as such and one of the other two was tremendously aggressive and warmongering, which prevented the advance of the alliance, dedicated only to attacking other alliances.

At one point, a meeting was held between the members of the alliance excluding these two CiC (the one who did nothing and the one who just wanted to throw us all into his eternal fight).

After a long conversation and an intense vote, it was agreed to leave a single CiC in charge of the alliance, removing the other two CiC from their rank.

In other words, about 40 people supported the change of command of the alliance and another eight were undecided or against it.

They were offered (all) the possibility to continue with us or to leave and create another alliance that would be dedicated to what they liked so much and most of us did not want.

The CiC that did not exercise remained in the alliance the same, doing what seemed good to him and the other left with some of his acolytes. Soon they disappeared as an alliance.
