Alliance Activity Tab on left side of screen --Greyed Out

The activity tab on the left side of the screen above the chat box and below the players information /Add Funds tabs) is now all grey.

It is the tab that shows alliances raids, POIs gained, members joined etc... It is now all greyed out. I do not see a way to activate it.

Anyone else have this problem and how to fix?

GretaDog2 On the options menu there is a section "Sidebar notification settings" - this is the section that controls the areas that are grey.
