Hey Shinerplunderer,
we took a look at this issue and found no issue with movement damage done by Scrapbus as well as the damage doen by the weapon or its target prioritization. One possible explanation might be (and the screenshots support that) is that the Scrapbus targeted the Militants as there was no other target available for it. Even though the Scrapbus is not very effective against infantry, its movement damage combined with the (lesser) damage its weapon deals to infantry may mhave lead to the perception of it dealing full damage.
The issue I'm highlighting here is the arsenal fails to provide the trample damage to defense units whenever such a situation occurs. Offense vehicles can trample Defense Infantry, so can Defense Vehicles trample Offense Infantry. I think everyone should be aware of this minor risk, as if the infantry gets trampled, the situation/simulation will change quickly.
Regarding Anti-Infantry Vehicles, they don't use their trample damage due to their preferred target being infantry... I don't know the solution to this so Anti-Infantry Vehicles can trample Infantry properly - maybe give them a 2.5 priority range that targets Infantry within that range first before the one's inside the 1.5 radius? This would apply to both Offensive and Defensive Anti-Infantry Vehicles, perhaps excluding the Defensive Bowler, as it can cause unexpected changes.
