Engine Error: file corruption

@n30phuis Hi, have you been able to play at all or did you always get this? Is there any more detail on the error message?

Which drive do you have the game installed on? Can you try moving it to a different drive and try again?

I was able to play for about an hour on my laptop, however when installing on my desktop I received this error, I have installed on my ssd and a normal hd, I also run SLI is that  problem?

I'll change again and report back after reinstall

Changed to different drive, still not working

@n30phuis Hi, so if you move the entire install to another drive you get the same error message? That's interesting. 

Can you try deleting the Respawn folder in your My Documents? When you start the game it should recreate this, and possibly ask you to use your cloud-saved files from your laptop. 

Try doing this and see if that helps. 

If the issue still persists it means that there's likely not a settings issue, and it's likely not an individual hard drive issue. To me this would mean that the game files aren't getting written properly and are probably being blocked by something local. In many cases this is due to an over-zealous anti-virus program. Try (temporarily) disabling your anti-virus and running the repair again.

I have the exact same problem after I AFKed for a few days. 

Now Titanfall2 have this problem. And my BF1 won't launch as well.

@geoff1126 Do you have any Steam games on that drive and have they encountered any similar issues? 

Is the repair ineffective for you too? Can I ask what Anti-virus you use?

Can you try a malware scan before the repair if you haven't already?
