I have a 360 elite with a 120gb HDD with over 40gb free and when I try to download the hd content it stops around 3/4 and says couldn't store hd content to xbox 360 jar drive Titanfall cannot continue and will now exit. I had no problem downloading the hd content for battlefield so what's the issue with this?

I will provide you several workarounds, please accept as a solution if one of following steps helped you to solve this issue. If not, please respond that we can look for other possible solutions. To make sure that no corrupt data causing your issue, you should clear your cache: From the dashboard, click on My Xbox. Select System Settings. Select Storage. Highlight Hard Drive Device. Press Y to select Device Options, then Clear System Cache. Reboot your console. Redownload the updates for the game. NOTE: Not all games have a Title Update File. From the Dashboard, click on My Xbox. Select System Settings. Select Storage. Select Hard Drive Device by pressing A. Select Games and Apps. Select and delete Game Title. Restart Game. I too have had the same issue and have tried the methods mentioned several times but nothing is working and it's truly aggravating as I really would like to play this new game I paid a lot of hard earned money on. Please help. I've downloaded other content and played it since and Titanfall was working earlier in the day and all of the sudden I lagged out of a game and couldn't start again.

Used to have this same problem with almost every download I tried. My solution was to unplug all USB cords from the back and front.Because I use headphones when playing FPS games, they were plugged in the back via USB. I unplugged them and Ta-Da! Instant success. Good Luck!

Good catch, reegzz, thanks. I also have seen a report of a player who needed to format their hard drive, which resolved the issue. Obviously this is a big step so make sure you exhaust the other options first.

That didn't help it's not an update it's an hd download that is required to play the game. Battlefield had the same download but I didn't have the problem I do now with Titanfall.

I had a problem with the game not even downloading the update at the beginning. I had to go into my xbox to system, storage, highlight my hard drive, then press LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X. That started an update and gave me infinite lives as well... odd... Anyways that update seems to have fixed my problem. Maybe it will fix yours as well.

I have tried all of the suggested solutions and nothing is helping. I am getting rather frustrated with this as I paid £45 for this game last week and have yet to be able to play it. Please help

I followed all the steps and it still doesn't work it keeps on saying it failed, I did this for 30 mins and nothing has happened I like tried to attempt it about 25 times!

Alright I'm just going to come right out; I got titanfall the first day it came out for xbox360 and a few weeks later it starts optimizing and stops optimizing at just the ending of the download and says couldn't store Hd content to the xbox360 hard drive Titanfall cannot continue and will now exit. Now I don't know what's going with this but either Microsoft or titanfall need to fix this now I can't play and I paid 60$ for it ; I tried getting a new disc but by the time I had this problem it was past 30 days so I'm thinking its a scam cause it stop work just after I could returne the game. Now I can't my favorite game nor Microsoft or Titanfall will help me fix this problem; there lacking; if they can't fix this. If anyone else has this problem let me know

I have bought this for my son. it worked the first time he played it but since then i am getting the same problem. Have tried all the fixes but none work anyone got any new ideas?

So I tossed the disc out and bought titanfall off the market place which now the game optimizes the hd content but now the new problem is that when I hit play it attempts the 8 connections and upon the 8th one it just starts retrying the connections all over again and once again still no game play.
