1. Do something with Krustyland or give us players that spent donuts on items some sort of reward and get rid of it.
5. Set up a profile that auto removes friends that haven't played for so many days.
6. Allow more friends to be added.
http://media.tumblr.com/34e5f785524a9651972483246cc5767f/tumblr_inline_mt6tqlEAiT1rfkrcr.gif - A lot of good ideas above me, many of them I have been wanting for years. I would like to add a few more ideas I have been contemplating about.
This first one I have mentioned once sometime during this years Easter event, but since then I have put a lot more thought into it:
"Water feature overhaul" - This is a feature that I would love to see overdone the most. Basically this feature would allow us to connect all water decorations to each other and to rivers and the ocean.
We would thus be able to make an awesome lake using: Rivers, Easter Ponds, Minnow Pond and the Springfield Falls. Then we should be able to connect the lake to the ocean, making one nice looking body of water.
This next feature will definitely reduce the need for more land:
"Dead Space" - With this I do not mean the nightmare inducing video game. I am talking about the dead space around a some very common and heavily used decorations: Fences. I always hate staring at that unusable space at the bottom of fences, where I would love to place Bushes, Flowers, Benches, Trees and other decorations that would logically be placed up against fences.
This change would drastically reduce the need for land, by virtually allowing us to use more of the land we already have.
These are my two most sought after changes (aside from more land and more dirt/path options).
Thanks for reading  DJDK-ec wrote:

Those are two very awesome things you've brought up! I thought about them as well, especially during major redesigns. Allowing things to go right up against fences on both sides would make designs look a lot more organic and save space.
Allowing water decorations to connect to actual bodies of water would be amazing as well! The fishing pond looks horrible and extremely disproportionate. I hate using it, but I keep it around since I use the task that's associated with it often. That's not to mention the gap between Springfield falls and my river drives me mad. I try to hide it with a tree but it doesn't help much!- The town snapshot idea is my favorite, and it would be very easy to implement: after all, spAnser already did it though he no longer maintains the site. I'm not holding my breath since EA won't invest in the servers.

Also, I'd like to explode my Springfield to fix some sprawl and group similar things, like shops, together instead of desperately trying to cram things into spots or throwing them out to the boonies. An efficient easy to use inventory list doesn't even sound hard to add in considering it's already how the shop is set up. Otherwise, it's too much of a nightmare thinking about redesigning with the current inventory screen.
Also also, if the issue with adding more land is that it'd really slow down older devices, instead of just tossing more land squares at the borders, try something like a quadrant system. Divide Springfield into a couple or four areas and having the game only load one at a time, kinda how Krustyland works. Boom, more land and it wouldn't strain some devices at the cost of dealing with an extra loading screen or two. How cool would it be if we had a nice sized designated area to set up all our event/holidays goodies we've accumulated through the years?
Last also, I'd really like it if programmers had extra time to setup and test upcoming events. They're probably sick of every update they release having more bugs than a dozen five dollar hookers pubes. A little more time and a little less boss' breathing down their necks while trying to fix the new bugs and we could not only get a working game but get the kinds of gameplay updates that add to and keep the game from getting stale. - bounce mr teeny 4 hour task.

You have some interesting ideas there, but I'd like to point out a few things that I think is important.
1) As interesting as having springfield broken up into different parts sounds, a lot of players wouldn't like that. It would partition the town and make it a bit annoying getting around. I know this was an issue when KL came out, and a lot of people stopped going in there because of that. Well there was also the fact that it wasn't as interesting but you get my point.
2) I think testing an event before a release is a a good idea, but there are a few issues that arise. One is that they can't simulate the load of thousands of players, playing the game. Another issue is, they'd need an extra couple of weeks for testing and that's not time they have. It seems they have an entire year planned out, so every event and level runs off of a specific schedule. This means if they decided to add testing time, we'd loose out on constant, and they'd loose out on revenue. I don't think their events are that bad for them to need to do that.
I think a good solution would be is extending events. It wouldn't hurt them or the players in any way since there's quiet period after events that are usually quite boring anyways. This would mean that people who completed everything will just keep playing the game like they would normally, and those who weren't able to finish as fast will have extra time to finish. I say this since some of their events go a little crazy with requirements.- At the moment, the things I'd like the most are:
1. Reduce neighbour cooldown to 20-23h instead of 24h, to prevent the ever-marching-forward effect that forces you to skip visits if you need to move your visiting times backwards. Or perhaps just reset at a fixed time for all neighbours instead of per neighbour.
2. In a neighbour town, have buttons to move to the previous/next neighbour that still has actions available (skipping those that are on cooldown). Alternatively, on the main screen have buttons to quickly hide/show all neighbours on cooldown.AJtheboss1 wrote:

I think the main issue with KL is that it has a completely separate currency and multipliers. If SF were broken up into sections but with shared currency & multipliers, I think people would be much more accepting of it -- provided load times were quick.
Having said that, it would likely cause issues with neighbour visits or be annoying during events where you had to hunt and tap things (eg. aliens, elves) that had been spread over multiple sub-towns. ZennGlenn wrote:
Solid stuff as always Barry...
Would add Night mode; could be neat to see things all lit up - not to mention once again the Bad Dream House continues to go to waste for Halloween / Holidaze
...as well as more weather; rainy days, and even some funky natural disasters to contend w/which could actually be fun update games as I mentioned in previous threads on the issue; 'The Hurricane', tornado, quake, flood, etc for some rebuilding extravaganzas
It's everything what i want, good one*)- More events based on classic episodes, and less events based on minor holidays. No one's town needs more new Saint Patricks day crap. There is no more room for heart themed valentines junk. Just sell the old stuff, while doing something completely different for the new stuff.
