Yes, the awesome Simpsons00001 showed me how so now I get to show somebody else and make you guys think I am really smart (HAHA).

Go into your profile in your game and click bart/milhouse....click profile.....click settings....scroll down to news and there you go. Poke around in there and change the settings to what you like.
