Its still an incredibly abridged version of the manga. I got way more out of reading it. it helps that it was finished after the movie was made, and that it has a proper ending.

Still though, I will always remember the movie for two things: Testuooooooooo! Kanedaaaaaaaaa! :lol:

Without getting into hot water with the Mods, can you explain to me the difference in Anime and Hentai? I'm really stupid I know...

And what is Manga? Anime in comic book form?

Hentai is a type of Anime....a decidedly adult type, if you catch my drift. :wink:

And you're right on the money as to Manga. Manga is to the Japanese (or Asians in general) what graphic novels are to Westerners. Next time you're in a book store, have look in the "graphic novel/comic" section. Many big book stores (read: Barnes and Noble) have a seperate "Manga" section alongside the graphic novel section now.

Manga = Japanese Comics

I saw a Final Fantasy movie on Netflix that is not in English. Based off of FF VII. That Anime? I love FF. I might check it out.
