Any other long time players feeling a little left out???

It's not been to long since we got some decent stuff at Christmas but I understand what you're saying as the last sale and the mini valentines seems more aimed at the newer players although we are getting a few new bits from valentines too, let's hope that something good is just around the corner for all players new and old.

Nah I'm liking this one. It my third V-DAY and second as a full blown premium player. My biggest complaint is that I'd like to get some more rose bushes. Never can have too many of those. Honesty, I never quite thought valentine's was a big enough holiday for a full blown event. This gives me a chance to focus on redecorating, my side towns and even a few non-TSTO activities.

To be honest, I was happy to just see something released. I'm very excited at the potential of what's to come next after seeing a new character mentioned.

I like that newer players and players that may have missed something have another chance at some of the past items, but my only complaint would be that I wish there were more items for them, like the heart balloons, for example. I really don't like to complain though, because my grandfather usually had a saying when someone complained near him, and I'll try to clean up what he'd always say.... Shut your mouth before I have sex with it.

IMHO it was filler at best.

Most of my time has been spent on my secondary town these days. My primary town just hasn't really had much going on.

I've been playing since the beginning and it gets really disappointing to wait for an event, and then when the event comes your storylines are limited and you have nothing to buy/work for because you have everything already.

Yes, its easy to just keep re-releasing old items but its also very lazy.

Enough people seem to be pleased though so EA will keep doing it. When I've had enough (which is getting closer and closer everyday, I barely check my town once a day now), I'll just stop playing.

Remember that the characters that are now premium, like Mindy, now pay out at premium. So we got all that time with them, and now they get upgraded for free. That's a pretty cool, right?

Calling them lazy, when you have no idea what's going on behind the scenes, is unfair.

I am enjoying not have a major event going on right now. While this is my first Valentine's with TSTO, it's nice to have a little cooling down time. I bought Brandine first off as soon as I saw her. I need to get some more donuts if I want Mindy, and I think I really do. Currently have 10 :lol:

And I was disappointed about the Stonecutters Sale. I had everything I wanted from the actual event last yeat. The only thing I could buy was the All Seeing Eye, the fences and tube silde. I bought some more fences and tube slides, but I didn't buy the ASE last year or this year.

It would have been nice if EA had introduced some new items for the sale to make it not seem random thrown together.

While I would have enjoyed an event just for the fun of it.. I really do not like most of the valentine themed d?cor they release. Like pink fountains?? Pink benches?? No thanks. The ponds are nice and I like the balloons for Krusty Land but there is only so much of that stuff I need - and my inventory is bursting with V-day stuff. Im with other posters about wanting more rose bushes though.

Im happy the newer players get a chance to catch up - it makes me all the more happy that I don't have to spend donuts on a lot of these things because I was around for their original release.

The game does seem to have slowed down a bit, but im holding out hope that's because something big is coming. If not, that's fine - I've been using this time to collect donuts from friends and pretty up my town. Im not feeling left out though - I can see the upside to having been a long time player.

Growing more rose bushes would have nice. I did get the chance to pick up Howard's Flowers and Phineas Butterfats so I'm happy about that. I wasn't sure about spending the donuts last year so I passed on them. Still trying to decide on Up Up and Buffet. :)
