Anyone having problems act 2?

Many of the forum members were able to amass large numbers due to a glitch that has now been fixed (patched yesterday). This glitch allowed you to visit a single neighbor and repeatedly get currency.

Just checked the calendar, your supposed to have 6700 at the end of Sept 2. So it looks to me that your on schedule

If you look at the calendar in the strategy thread, the target for 2 September is 6700 chrons, so you’re actually more or less on track. A number of users have been able to accumulate a substantially greater number of chrons over the past few days by exploiting a program glitch, but that avenue is now closed.

Someone did the math and it seems like you will have to login at least 5 times every 4 hours each day to complete Act 2. Apparently EA bumped up the chronons reward for the PolyVac game, so that's a start. Also, you should consistently swap out any daily challenge that doesn't reward 1100 chronons, to maximise your income. :)

Obviously, most forum members are done with Act 2 or at least a lot better off after exploiting and abusing the glitch though. Sorry you missed out on this! :(

Thank for the info guys. I must have a lot of cheaters on my friends springfields then.

I wouldn't call your friends cheaters. They could have exploited the recently patched glitch (like so many forum members were doing) or they may have spent donuts to reach their numbers. Chances are more likely that they did not cheat.

I doubt any of them were cheaters at all. Most of them, like me, abused and exploited the Big Digi Ben glitch which gave 30 chronons every time we visited someone's town.

You could call it cheating, but it's more like abusing a glitch :P

Hi Echo, can you point me in the direction of this Maths? Because it's not on my Strategy Thread (I know I missed a few days, because of a broken iPad, but I go back and check these things, I'm dedicated to my job! :wink: ), and a look around the forum isn't helping me find it. Any help would be appreciated!! :)

Are you sure you are playing 4 times per day? I log in 4 times per day in my non-premium town and currently have 9,300 chronons. I was not able to take advantage of the glitch (none of my neighbors had the clock!) and have not spent any donuts.

If you really are playing 4 times per day then maybe you are not spacing it out 4 hours every time or are not clearing the PolyVac or sending the other Homers. You must do all of these every time to get the full benefit from each session.
