I started in July of 2014, so this Halloween event is my first experience with the trees changing in the game. I get the idea of winter/snow in the town... But how does Springfield vegetation differ in the Spring from that in the Summer?
As for real life, I'm a San Diego, CA native. I've lived here most my life (consecutively since 1986), but for a few years in my youth (from about '75-86), my family moved around a lot. I lived in areas around Tucson, Denver, Milwaukee, and Seattle during that time, and experienced all the seasons/weather throughout. Northwestern continuous rains, desert monsoons, Great Lakes wind chill, blizzards, hail storms, ice storms, Midwest thunderstorms, tornadoes, 120' desert dry heat, dust storms, changing/falling leaves, slushy/salty roads, melty-tar roads, fun snowmen, prickly cacti... all of it. It was fun sometimes, but I tell ya, I love So Cal best. More-or-less mild throughout the year, but desert, mountains (snow), beaches, etc. all within a relatively short-drive *IF* you want to visit.

So far, it hasn't much. I'd like to see flowers on the trees in spring :)- I hate the autumn look, it makes my town look sad and not colprfull. Also I can't design my Forrest properly.
Kinda feel like we should get some kind of a building that we can use to change season. neuroheart wrote:

Never experienced Autumn. Seen many photos of it, and it looks spectacular. I love color!!
Also never experienced Winter. Don't mind it, but as I said I love dramatic color ...
Visit Colorado at the end of October some year, you can probably experience both in one week.
What are you talking about, you can probably experience both in a matter of 48 hours. :P- I read. A post on here of someone wanting to take up roads and sidewalks the night before the snow flies si it looks like free snow where noone has walked or drove on it. Love the idea. Love the seasonal trees and think they need to stay that way. Thanks again for your rime.

And summer too. Lol. Love my bipolar weather state - i love how the seasons change in our towns. its a great attention to detail. and just like real life, when you get sick of seeing your town covered in snow, you'll wake up one day and update to spring

I agree, and to take it a step further I'd love to see some of the vegetation available to buy differ from season to season. Some different flowers available during the spring, some trees only available during summer etc...SirLance_Elot wrote:

Well, sure, but it's more likely if someone is here for at least a week ;)efin98 wrote:

Tough to beat the Rocky Mountains for weird weather patterns.
Apparently, when my mom first arrived in Colorado, she asked if it would snow the next day. She was told that only fools try to predict the weather, here.
Someone once asked me what weather they should pack for if they were visiting a semi-mountain town called Boulder in mid-March. They thought I was being difficult when I said, "Warm sunny days, cool days, and blizzard." Got very angry about it, actually. But that's literally how it is here, especially in the six months that surround December.
