I just used my three tickets on wrong answers. It showed a timer next to the ticket that had 45 seconds until I would get another ticket. Once I used that one, it had 2 minutes until the next ticket. It maxes out at 3 tickets, but since it take very little time to regenerate it makes sense to send everybody you can.
