- I'm game to give it a try, but it'll be a long time before I have enough land to make it happen. As it is, the power plant is closer to the hills than Homer's house, which is a long ways from there.
At the moment I don't have nearly the property to set this up correctly. - Why would you want your Springfield to match the one on TV? The storyline of the game is that Homer blew up the entire Springfield by accident, and you get an opportunity to design a new Springfield.
- Some parts of Springfield of mine has some similarity which I copied from a map, but that was a long time ago. With new stuff since then, it’s what you wouldn’t call my Springfield a similarity.

I think as long as you put Neds house to the left of Homer's then you've nailed the only constant in the Springfield universe. It's still fun to try to imagine your way through it though ☺
I think the Simpsons also have the Powers family as a neighbor on the other side too.- 74handsNew Spectator

The same reasons people rebuild their houses on the same plot of land after a tornado, earthquake or hurricane - familiarity, security, and tenacity. "74hands;c-1738529" wrote:

I thought the tent city came before the rebuilding.- I don't go by the map, I go by the episodes and the movie. I started with the back bone of my Springfield being the opening credits. If the town square is the center of your town, you see a lot of landmarks and the proximity to town square. After that you just branch out. I feel like my primary layout is pretty decent. Lol It's impossible to be totally accurate because buildings can only face 2/4 directions, some buildings aren't released yet, some buildings have more than one location, etc. Etc. Lol
- It is a quite challenge to recreate Springfield. But that is just one facet of this game. Some people maybe really enjoy collecting stuffs. Takes time to properly lay them out.
- A perfect example of stuff changing in episodes is Stonecutters. They show The Simpsons backyard fence literally on the other side of the Power plant Parking lot when Homer gets there late and has to park way out there lol but every other episode its not there at all, it usually has a normal wooden fence with houses on the other side of it like a residential area. And sometimes The Power Plant is seen on a "hill" in the outskirts of town and sometimes its on a flat area in certain episodes when shown from over head.
- also, I don't think ther are enough space in the game to recreate west spingfield which is 3 times larger than texas.
